Planning for a Crisis
Saturday, April 06, 2019

London, ON

Family Network Thames Valley is pleased to welcome Cristin Osborne to facilitate the "Planning for a Crisis" workshop. Osborne is an Independent Facilitator, educator, trainer and consultant working in Waterloo Region who developed this workshop out of extensive experiences working alongside families and individuals in situations of crisis.

This workshop is designed to assist caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities in planning for the future well-being and success of their child or loved one, regardless of external events that might occur. Ranging from basic safety measures and information needed to support your loved one in the hours, days and weeks following a crisis to the more in-depth information needed when the caregiving role shifts to a new individual, this workshop seeks to address the most pressing concerns of caregivers.

Attendees will receive a workbook for developing their plans and recording important information regarding the care of their loved one and two hours of additional follow-up support from Osborne to review their plans and needs.

Please note that this is a full day workshop. Lunch will be provided.

Due to limited space, individuals who are not able to acquire a ticket can contact Family Network Thames Valley to be added to the waitlist.
